Unsatisfied board of directors. Management team in a company with sales in more than 50 countries and with targets not communicated and broken down to those persons responsible for delivering them. As the employees didn’t know the targets set by the management team, they didn’t understand which tasks to be done to reach the targets. The consequences were that the profit of the company as well as the growth, customer and employee satisfaction e.g. were not reached.
Xplan started the project by formulating some business critical target areas together with the CEO. After this the managers of the different units were responsible to set relevant targets for the respective area. The next step for those managers was, together with Xplan as their coach, to set sharp targets for each employee. The project is still ongoing through individual coaching of key persons.
Each person in the organization were well aware how they should act in order to contribute to the common targets of the company (they understood their part of the total picture). The company reached an increased profit, higher revenue, higher customer satisfaction, better quality, and higher employee satisfaction.
